Do you see Doctor Eggman (from the Sonic video games) being an awesome villain for Tony Stark (MCU's version of Iron Man) if he had existed in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as oppose to the main Sonic universe, and become Stark's nemesis and attack him regularly?
Also, how much would the balding doctor effect that universe if he had sometimes made attempts to battle with S.H.I.E.L.D. and HYDRA at different points in time and try to conquer countries in that 'verse's Earth?
Note: Sonic and any characters from Sonic's World other than Eggman and his robots won't exist.
I feel like Eggman would make a interesting villain for the Marvel universe but only if he could build his usual egg based robots or robots filled animals. Otherwise he wouldn't stand out to much from A.I.M. as a tech based villain or even Zola. Otherwise I feel like he would probably take over A.I.M. or HYDRA but he would probobly be to obsessive over defeting Tony he would never be able to truly defeat Tony.
Eggman would still be able to built his usual egg based robots and Badniks in that scenario.
What happens when the bad ol' doc decides on building himself his own Iron Man armored suit? Or rather what if Eggman build armor that could potential rival Iron Man's in strength, resilience, speed, flight and power?
There have actually been comics that had him do just that. The problem is Egman has always been too straight forward and Tony would definitely exploit that. Having great and powerful tech is nothing to Eggman but Tony is a problem solver and resourceful even in bad situations. Eggman tends to give up or run away.
